BRACE
YOURSELFIT'S…
ME!
Finally got around to putting up another picture. This is me, on a bench on Landis Green at Florida State. It's in black and white because it was taken to be a file photo for the new newspaper I'm working for, The Last Word. I look pretty good for being about 15 minutes removed from bed lol. But yeah, this is a pretty good picture of me, and this is just about what I usually look like, even down to the black cotton collared shirt and the blue jeans. Gosh, I sure are handsome!
Another new one, this is me at my high school graduation, June 1, 1997. Not a great shot of me but I put it up just because of the novelty value. Yes, I wore a New Jersey Devils jersey under my robe at my high school graduation. If you really know me this probably isn't a really big surprise. It was a present, the back says "GERBER 97".
Running with the
DEVIL
The latest picture of yours truly, I am the handsome fell'r on the left. On the right is Martin Brodeur, the goalie for the
New Jersey Devils. This picture was taken May 8, 1998 at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ. We were at the 80th birthday party of John McMullen, the owner of the team and a friend of my father's. I feel like such an underacheiver… Brodeur is only a couple of years older than I am and he's making a couple of million dollars a year. It scanned pretty well, so what ya see is pretty much what ya get. Anyhow, that's me.
That's me on the left. On the right the one lucky enough to be shaking hands with me is Senator Bob Graham (D-FL). Yeah, I
KNOW he's a Democrat, but he's a fairly moderate one, and probably the most popular politician in the history of the state. This was the spring of 1997 at the Sheraton Bal Harbour, which if you don't know anything about the area is right next door to Bob Dole's apartment in "the ADM condo" and more importantly is three blocks from my house.I think I've probably lost about 15 pounds since then…
or at least I did before I came home from college!

This is it, long known infamously throughout Cyberia as "the pic". That's me with the Stanley Cup. This was the summer of 1995, when I was working for the New Jersey Devils. That was an awesome summer, ask me anytime and I'll tell you some of the stories. Oh, and umm, Steve, thanks for loaning me that shirt… was just a tad big on me though, ya think? ;-)
I miss New York

This was taken at the Young America's Foundation's annual conference
in Washington, DC, in the summer of 1997.
That's Ollie North on the left, and me on the right… lookin' all sharp in my suit.
Someday I'll post a transcript of the answer he gave me when I asked him to comment
on the state of patriotism today.
An interesting piece of trivia-- the book he signed for me was John Calvin Bachelor's
Ain't You Glad You Joined the Republicans, and I also got Pat Buchanan
and former wide receiver Congressman Steve Largent (R-OK) to sign it. ![]()

Okay, for all you astute non-drunk people out there, you're right… this is NOT me, but it IS, supposedly, John Spartan. This is a figurine of
the original John Spartan. I've never seen this doll, I actually haven't even seen this picture before, a friend of mine was nice enough to send this to me when she found it. What I…err, he's doing holding a tea set and hosting a dinner party is beyond me. If anyone knows where I might be able to come across one of these thingies I'd be most appreciative if ya'd let me in on it ;-)
